L576 slows to 10 mph to cross the Black River east bridge and dam at Hatfield. This bridge was completed about 1912 after a flood wiped out the previous bridge in 1911.
A very late R916, but with a great oppurtunity for shots, sits idle in the yard after dying on hours.
WC 2500 leads 3 others up to the Northtown cut. They will tie on to the cars, and interchange with the BNSF at Northtown. What a great consist!
